Throughout this project I've been touched by peoples kindness and generous support, here are a few who deserve a mention:

Jim Parsons - chair making god who lent me the green wood working tools along with his library

Crispen @ Big wood - who supplied the sweet, sweet chestnut

Woodland TV on U tube for their great 8 minute video on shingle making

Gerard Delaney - who lent me his transit van for a lot longer than first thought

Rinus , Anniet and all @ Broomhill for their kind hospitality and quite the best rhubarb tart in the West

Dot and Martin - for putting up with me for 3 weeks, for all their help in many ways and keeping my body and soul together

Linda and George - for their love and patience

One morning I came to Broomhill to find a large tree had fallen on my sculpture in the night.. thankfully real no damage.
Brother in law Martin sorted it quickly with his chainsaw and part of the trunk was used for the bench legs- see later photo
About half way ... note the tree
First shingle tiles being fixed
Robert, my nephew helping out with some painting, thanks Rob.
